I've have tried many Minecraft mod packs but I've never ended up fully completing them. Beyond Ascension is the only one I've enjoyed so much that that I finished all quest, defeated all bosses, tamed dragons, and got the best weapons and armors in the pack. I started playing during it's beta stages way back and even then it was fun. I love the combat animations and the difficultly of the mobs the pack comes with. One of the core memories of playing this was when piglings overran my friend and I's base. Since we were wearing the ring, they attacked us on the spot every time we went into the nether. Eventually, a swarm of went through the portal, overran our base, and constantly attacked and killed us over and over. On top of this, every time we died, it spawned a new piglin or zombie. It took us over an hour (maybe 2 hours) to retake our base. The satisfaction of re-taking / gaining control of our area after suffering so much was awesome. 10 out of 10 best Minecraft experiences I've had. I love the challenge this mod pack brings!
