This is the most iconic Thermal Expansion-based technology pack you will ever find. The pack runs extremely smoothly (even on my 8gb RAM laptop), and I have never been able to get it to crash (except for the pink slime Myst page ). This was the first modpack that I ever played, and I cannot say enough good things about it.

If you want a great compilation of most of the defining mods of this version, this is the pack for you. Even if old versions (1.6.4) scare you, consider giving this one a try.

This pack can get lonely, so I recommend downloading this pack and finding a decently-active server (there are handful that I am aware of).
