From my time played (Around 19 hours) Caramel seems to strike a nearly perfect balance between the nostalgic charm of vanilla gameplay and the depth of a well curated modpack. It keeps the familiar feel of Minecraft alive while adding just enough new mechanics, biomes, and progression to make the world feel alive again. And surprisingly, nothing feels out of place and everything blends really naturally with the base game. Performance is solid, stability is excellent, and the mod selection feels intentional rather than overwhelming like other "Vanilla+ Modpacks". If you’ve ever wanted a true “vanilla, but better” modpack Caramel nails that vision nearly perfectly.
