Applied Energistics 2 | Infinity gives AE2 storage cells configurable byte and type capacities, with effectively unlimited defaults.

It changes the capacity of AE2's existing storage cells while keeping the normal cells, drives, terminals, and ME network behavior intact.

By default, supported AE2 storage cells have effectively unlimited:

• Byte capacity
• Type capacity

This removes the normal storage limits without changing how you use AE2.

If you do not want completely unlimited storage, both values can be configured.

You can set your own:

• Byte capacity
• Type capacity

This makes the mod useful for both simple survival setups and modpacks that want custom storage balancing.

Applied Energistics 2 | Infinity does not add replacement storage cells.

It modifies the cells that are already part of AE2.

• Use the same storage cells
• Use the same ME Drives
• Use the same terminals
• Keep the same crafting system
• Keep the same ME network

The mod works with supported AE2 storage variants, including item and fluid storage cells where available.

No separate storage system is added. Everything continues to work through AE2 as normal.

The goal is to remove storage limits without changing the rest of Applied Energistics 2.

Your network still behaves like AE2. Your drives still behave like AE2. Your terminals still behave like AE2.

The cells simply hold much, much more.

Applied Energistics 2 is required.
