---=== END MESSAGE ===---
`Alive | Advanced Block Decay` is a Minecraft mod that is a component of the Alive Modding Ecosystem.
It adds a multitude of features, and it's highly recommended you play with `Alive | Dynamic Dirt & Physics` for the full experience!
(`Alive | Dynamic Ecosystems is recommended as well, lest you want an apocalypse scenario)
This mod makes blocks in your world slowly decay down to there most basic forms (dirt, grass, etc), following decay chains. Structures without players or villagers nearby will slowly decay and collapse until nothing is left but a small pile of dirt!
Mod Features:
- Decay chains for all solid Minecraft blocks, except those for the end dimension
- The ability for blocks to randomly decay based on decay chains
- The speed at which blocks decay is weighted higher the closer to the ground surface you are
- The deeper you go underground, the slower things will decay
- If human entities (players, villagers, and pillagers) are nearby decayable blocks, these blocks will not decay so long as they remain near
If you want to see the exact decay chains, here is the script used to generate the default decay chains used by the mod: https://github.com/Ghostcrafter090/Alive/blob/master/decaychain.ds
(load this into here to see a flow chart representation: https://www.mermaidchart.com/play?utm_source=mermaid_live_editor&utm_medium=toggle)
The ability to contribute/create your own block decay chains (including for modded blocks!) is planned and coming soon!
