31 legendary items from the Altar SMP series, remade for Paper 1.21.11.

What is this?

An independent remake of the Altar SMP legendary weapons, written from scratch for Paper 1.21.11 / Java 21. Every item has its own abilities, cooldowns and tooltips. Legendaries are claimed at altars, picked with a selector token or rolled with a randomizer token. No other plugin is needed.

The items

Season 2: Tidebreaker, Ancient Blade (levels up with kills), Wither Symbiote, Omen, Dragonrend.

Season 1: Cutlass, Windweaver, Echo, Frost Scythe, Paladin Axe, Withered Bone, Hyperion, Nightpiercer, Bone Blade, Pure Blade, Earth Gauntlet, Shadow Blade, Eclipse (different abilities by day and by night), Bloodlust (levels 0-5), Knightfall (levels 0-10), Vulcan's Crossbow, Striker, Pale Cannon, Illusion Wand, Crazy Slots, Nuke Remote, Copper Pickaxe (3x3 mining) and the four-piece Copper Armor set.

Crafting materials: Illusion Core, Weapon Handle, Vulcan's Skull.

Features

• Abilities on Offhand (F) and Crouch + Offhand; every input can be rebound in config.yml.
• Per-player cooldowns that survive relogs and restarts, shown as boss bars.
• Altars: /altar spawn <weapon> builds a claimable altar, with optional material costs.
• Selector and randomizer tokens with configurable pools and weights.
• /altar settings: in-game admin menu for cooldowns, ability switches and token pools. Your config.yml is never rewritten.
• Safe by default: no ability breaks terrain unless you switch it on.
• Duplication-safe: tokens, altars and Crazy Slots are tested against drop, chest, death, quit and restart exploits.
• Kill progression for Ancient Blade, Bloodlust and Knightfall, with anti-farming.
• All messages in messages.yml (MiniMessage). SQLite storage, no external database.

Resource pack (free, not included)

The weapon models come from the free Altar SMP Texture Pack by Doomwen and Duckzy on Modrinth. It is not bundled with this plugin. Download it from Modrinth and set resource-pack.url in config.yml. Without the pack everything still works, with vanilla item looks.

Not included

• The Copper Event and the Vampire Event.
• The Illusion Wand's "use their ability" and "gain their attributes" parts (capture, disguise and removal work).
• Pale Rot has no effect by default; you can give it effects in config.yml.
