About

Description

Anvil Restrict gives server owners and modpack creators total control over the Anvil. If you've ever felt that certain enchantments break the progression of your world, this mod allows you to disable them specifically within the Anvil interface without removing the enchantments from the game entirely.

When a player attempts to combine an item with a "banned" enchantment, the result slot simply remains empty, preventing the transaction.

Features

Total Control: Block any enchantment from any mod using its registry ID.

Simple Logic: Prevents "banned" books or items from being used in the secondary (right-hand) anvil slot.

Lightweight: Built with performance in mind using server-side tick validation.

Vanilla Feel: No messy error messages; the Anvil simply refuses the recipe, just like an incompatible vanilla combination.

Configuration

After running the mod once, you can find the config file at /config/anvil_restrict-common.toml. Simply add the enchantment IDs to the list.
