This mod does what it says on the tin and does it well. It does make enchanting lots of gear and items less time consuming, especially if you're exiting the enchantment table to combine books or get more gear frequently.

It is a very small change and is something that you probably don't need if you have villagers for enchanting, but for those people challenging themselves to not use villagers this could be very helpful.

Description

JOIN OUR DISCORD

A simple Quality of Life mod that automatically fills the enchanting table lapis lazuli slot from your inventory the moment you open it. It saves you the hassle of manually dragging lapis every time you want to enchant, while keeping the vanilla closing behavior completely intact.

What it does:

  • Automatically moves lapis lazuli from your inventory directly into the enchanting slot when you open the table.
  • Fills the slot up to one maximum stack (64 lapis), seamlessly combining smaller stacks from your inventory if needed.
  • Does nothing if you don't have any lapis, letting the menu behave normally.
  • Returns the lapis back to your inventory exactly as usual when you close the table, preserving predictable vanilla mechanics.

Two versions are available:

  • Server version — install on the server; clients may join without the mod.
  • Client-only version — install on the client; works even on servers that do not have the mod installed.

For singleplayer you can use any version. Just install it normally in your mods folder.
