About
Description
This mod requires Forgelin.
This is a small mod that backports flowers and seaweed from newer versions to 1.12.2.
Features:
- Lily of the Valley: a white flower that spawns in forests.
- Cornflower: a blue flower that spawns in plains.
- Wither Rose: a black flower that spawns on soul sand in the Nether. Can also drop from creatures killed by Withers. Applies wither on touch, be careful around it!
- Seagrass: spawns in any water bodies on the surface. Can be either one or two blocks high, doesn't grow without bonemeal.
- Kelp: spawns in the oceans. Grows to a random height from 8 to 16 blocks.
- Dried Kelp: a food item that can be eaten quickly. Can also be crafted into blocks that can be used as a fuel!
- Kelp Soup (this one is not vanilla): a delicious soup crafted from six kelp and a bowl. Restores three hunger chunks.
Mod integration:
- Quark: you can make Quark's dyes from the new flowers (provided they are enabled).
- Harvestcraft: kelp is oredicted as cropSeaweed which makes it usable as a seaweed replacement.
I didn't bother adding my own dyes since a lot of mods have them already, and most modpacks have Quark anyway.
Any of these features can be disabled in the config file.
