Overview

Bloom API is the shared development and runtime foundation for Bloomstone Studio mods, providing stable systems that compatible projects can build upon.

What It Provides

  • Module, capability, service and event registration.
  • Typed persistent settings.
  • Managed audio playback, focus, metadata and environmental processing contracts.
  • Reusable game-context definitions and live state snapshots.
  • Responsive interface layouts, controls, hierarchy tools and screen registration.
  • Character-rendering and layered-appearance contracts.

Runtime Behavior

Bloom API provides shared mechanisms rather than a standalone gameplay feature. Installing it by itself does not enable an audio overhaul, replace menus or change player appearance. Feature mods activate only the services they use.

For Developers

Depend on the official Bloom API runtime and declare the Fabric mod ID bloom_api. The matching developer package contains the complete sources JAR, setup instructions, API reference and example project.

Compatibility

Bloom API contains both common and client-side services. Install it wherever a dependent mod declares it as required.
