Blueprint Lab
No reviews yet
Isolated creative lab for prototyping builds. Nothing (items or energy) can leave — export as a schematic instead.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Description
Blueprint Lab
Prototype freely. Take only the blueprint home.
Blueprint Lab adds a shared, isolated creative dimension where you can design and test builds without touching your real world. When you enter, your inventory, ender chest, XP, hunger and gamemode stay behind. The lab starts empty. When you leave, everything is restored and your build remains in the shared lab.
Nothing leaves with you — not items, not energy, not fluids. Cross-dimension transfer blocks can still be placed and configured for prototyping, but they are neutralized so they never actually move anything out. You take your work home by exporting a schematic.
Features
- Shared, flat, always-day creative lab (
blueprintlab:lab) - Full session swap: inventory, armor, offhand, ender chest, XP, food, gamemode, Curios slots
- No chunk force-loading — empty lab holds zero loaded chunks
- Transfer blocks (Mekanism Quantum Entangloporter, AE2 Quantum Bridge, Flux, RS, Ender Storage, …) stay placeable but do not tick
- Export to Create Schematic & Quill (
.nbt) and vanilla structure files - Block-entity inventories stripped on export by default, so items cannot leak through NBT
- Almost everything configurable in
config/blueprintlab-server.toml - Ban lists via config wildcards (
modid:*) and datapack tags - Optional KubeJS scripting API — no hard dependency
How to enter
All methods are optional and can be disabled in the config.
- Lab Terminal — right-click the block to toggle
- Lab Tablet — right-click the item to toggle
- Command —
/blueprintlab enter,leaveortoggle - Keybind — default B
Isolation
Defense in depth, all driven by config and datapack tags:
- Your real gear never enters the lab
- Items handled in the lab are tagged; any that show up outside are vacuumed
- Chunk-loader tickets in the lab are rejected
- Known cross-dimension transfer blocks are neutralized (no tick) instead of banned from placement
Default banned-block coverage includes Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, Flux Networks, Ender Storage, Powah, Entangled and similar. Pack authors can extend or override this without a code update.
Compatibility
Built with Architectury for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge and Fabric. The only required dependencies are the loader and Architectury API.
Create, Mekanism, AE2, KubeJS, Curios and everything else are optional. The mod loads and runs without them. Create schematics work if Create is installed; Curios slots are swapped if Curios is present; KubeJS can hook enter/leave/place/export events if you want scripting.
Configuration
Tune entry methods, session swap fields, flat layers, isolation, ban lists and export formats
in config/blueprintlab-server.toml. Reload with /blueprintlab reload.
Datapack tags:
#blueprintlab:banned_blocks#blueprintlab:banned_items#blueprintlab:isolation_exempt_items
Commands
/blueprintlab enter | leave | toggle/blueprintlab reload(admin)/blueprintlab clearlab(admin)
