About

Description

Summary

Adds a new invisible world border that pushes players back, each dimension can have its own custom size. If a player somehow escapes the border, it pulls them back and applies strong negative effects. Fully configurable through the config file.

Feature

  • Pushes players back with the same force they entered
  • Individual size settings for each dimension
  • Always pulls players back inside the zone
  • Highly flexible thanks to the config file
  • Includes options for different types of entities

Description

Border Overhaul adds a better version of the world border. The standard world border stays untouched, but now you have a more dynamic alternative. The new border is invisible and reacts when a player gets too close. the stronger you try to break through — the stronger it pushes back.

If you somehow pass through it, the border will drag you back. depending on how far you went, it will also apply negative effects to you. Everything is configurable: border size per dimension, pushback strength, distance where effects start, and more. Also includes experimental options — let the border affect boats, minecarts, TNT, villagers, animals, and mobs.

Note

  • This mod was born from the simple fact: there’s no proper way to set a world border per dimension — or at least, i didn’t find one.
  • The rest just came naturally with that "hey, it’d be cool if it did this" vibe.
  • And to keep things tidy, all settings are wrapped into a config file, commands might come later… maybe.
