I HIGHLY suggest you install these following performance mods with C&CF or any 1.7.10 modpack you are playing.
1) Optfine - confident you already have this installed.
2) LagFix - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/entity-lagfix-lag-fix this mod helps with entity count causing significant lag and adds commands that can help you figure out the issue if you cannot figure out what is causing the lag. (Better Dungeons and Just a Few Fish like to cause problems in this category if you didn't know)
3) Fps Reducer - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fps-reducer not actually sure what this mod does but it helped me a bit
4) Better FPS - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/betterfps I don't actually use this one but it is suppose to help a lot for lower end PCs
5) Foam Fix - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/foamfix-optimization-mod helps out a lot with memory issues and much more, I use it and think it helps me out the most in my testing, amazing performance mod.
6 ) Another tip is to use the MultiMC launcher and to not allocate too much ram to Minecraft, for some reason it can make it run worse. I usually still around 5-6gb or so for 1.7.10 modpacks, I do not see any reason you may need more.
7) My final tip is to use a chunk loading mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chunkpregenerator is a good one. preload your Minecraft over-world and nether, alot of issues with pre-1.9 minecraft lag is terrain generation and this helps out greatly.

Where To Place Dragon Egg -
Void Rift Portal 3 All Null warts, sculk tentacles, diamond blocks, beacons and cluster will be consumed once you place the dragon egg on top -
How to get the Void Rift Portal 2 Other side, the chiseled stone bricks and other variants need to placed like in the image -
How To get the Void Rift Portal Requires the diamond blocks under the beacons and dragon egg placed in the middle on top of variegated-gem block -
Et Futurum Requiem Temp Fix No idea what the issue is here but simply set this to false in the Et Futurum config for now to make it compatible or install Dragon API and Cave Control(Fixes the issue for some reason) -
Sculk Ruin Generates underground, can find various new plants here -
Some Building Blocks Etherstone, Regular Stone, Grimstone, and Ancient Grimstone Special thanks to Askywalker on Planet Minecraft for the Ancient Grimstone Textures -
Cometic Crystal Blocks Simple recipes, orientation can be altered with the Cave and Cliff Wrench -
Ore to Block Structure Placing any ore on top of the null crystal, any ore from the mod or vanilla will convert it into the block of the ore. 1 Diamond Ore -> 1 Diamond Block etc. Will consume the 4 amethyst blocks.(Looking for feedback on this, seems alittle op to me) -
How to Obtain Sculk Stone Only obtained by placing Null Infused Bedrock in the End and surrounding it with end stone, will spread like grass to end stone blocks. -
Null Infused Bedrock World Generation Rare Block Found from y = 1 to y = 8, only can be found on top of Bedrock blocks. It has unique functionality in all 3 dimensions. Must be placed on bedrock otherwise it will convert into grimstone so be careful. Must be mined with a diamond pick. -
How to Obtain Null Crystals These crystals do not generate in world gen. You must have been to the end and obtained end stone and found every other crystal and create this structure to obtain them. (Place Aether bud in center) They ONLY grow on Null Infused Bedrock -
Null and Aether Buds Aether Buds are by far the rarest crystal, they only generate in extreme hill plus biomes underground. Null buds can only be obtained in by the structure in the next image. -
How to obtain Null Warts They can only be obtained by creating this structure and placing Null Infused Bedrock in the center. Null Warts will have more features in the future but right now they are only used in the ore - block converting structure -
Where do I locate Slag Crystals? They are only found as of the Beta 1.3.0 Update in Yttrlinsite Geos which only generate in desert biomes. They replace a few of the calcite blocks in the structure generation -
Much Faster Infinite Lava Source Akin to Vanilla Much Faster, grimstone bricks, block of ruby and the slag crystals are all required for it to work, place like in the image, it is symmetric -
Vanilla Infinite Lava Source Extremely slow like in vanilla, maybe too slow... The Cauldron must be placed directly below the drip-stone stalagmite like in the image -
The Five Main Crystals Amethyst, Ruby, Larimar, Tsavorokite, and Yttrlinsite Buds Amethyst by far the most common The rest are all equally common but the Yttrlinsite Geos only generate in desert biomes -
Etherstone Generation (1.3.0 Update) Found high up above y = 90 so only really in Mountain biomes or Savanna Plateau -
Beta 1.3.0 Cave Update Random Cave Sculk Blocks can randomly be found in caves below y = 16, only found in caves cannot be obtains by strip mining
