A lightweight client-side mod designed to improve the Minecraft chat experience for greater comfort and convenience~
This mod is entirely written by AI. (◍•ᴗ•◍)


💖 Features

  • Timestamps – Adds [HH:mm:ss] to every incoming message (local only, toggleable) 🕒
  • Chat History – Auto-saves up to 1000 messages per server, reloads when you rejoin 📜
  • Local Search/chatoptimizer search <keyword> – filter by player or message content 🔍
  • Unlimited Input – Removes the 256-char limit, supports up to 65536 chars (configurable) 💬
  • Right-Click Copy – Right-click any message to copy its full text 📋
  • Auto Commands – Run commands like /login automatically after joining a server 🤖
  • Format Preservation – Keeps colors, click events, and JSON formatting in history 🎨
  • Visual Settings UI – A pretty GUI to tweak everything 🖥️

📥 Commands

All commands start with /chatoptimizer:

timestamp on/off Enables/disables timestamps
history Shows history status
history clear Clears history for current server
history recordmode all/chat_only Sets record mode (all messages / chat only)
search [keyword] Opens search GUI
autocommand Opens auto-command menu
autocommand list Lists all saved auto commands
autocommand add <command> Adds a new auto command (must start with /)
autocommand remove <command> Removes an auto command

📝 Little Notes

  • Client-side only – no need to install on server 🎮
  • Chat history is saved per server IP in config/chat_optimizer_mod_1781247740/history/ – please back up if you need it 💾
  • Auto-command encryption is on by default (hardware‑bound) 🔒
  • Action bar messages (the ones in the lower middle of screen) are not logged 🚫
  • Only the most recent 1000 messages are kept per server (oldest get auto‑deleted) 🗑️
