Description
I have created my very first minecraft mod!
What does this do?
This mod simply adds shiny particles and sounds to shiny Pokemon for the Cobblemon mod. When you get within around 26 blocks from a wild shiny, they will play the shiny sound from PLA. Player owned Pokemon and wild shiny pokemon battled will play the shiny effects and sounds from generation 4. Don't worry if the Pokemon is hard to tell if shiny, wild Pokemon play an ambient particle to clue you in similar to the particles that play on shinies in Let's Go. Once you catch the shiny, the ambient particles only play if someone is looking directly at the Pokemon.
The code is server side, so if server owners want to add this mod to their server they are welcome to! Just merge the resourcepack, included, to your server resourcepack so players can see and hear the effects when they join! The mod is also usable in singleplayer, without the resourcepack!
Shout-out to chriscendo for helping me refine the code and to lilpebs for getting me started. Couldn't have done it without him.
