Mod Introduction

CarefreeChat enhances the original Minecraft chat system, providing players with a more professional and comprehensive IRC chat system experience. For example, it allows sending images without needing Discord or other contact methods. It offers some APIs so players can customize the chat system, connect external programs for additional features, and more. It provides an independent IRC system and disables the original Minecraft chat (when installing or using this mod, you should carefully consider whether it is suitable).

This allows players to chat directly in real-time without needing a Discord server or other contact groups, as long as the server is running, addressing various shortcomings of the original chat.

How to Use

On the Github link posted on this page, click in, find the Releases section and click in, choose a version suitable for you (or download directly from this page), then download and place it into the mods directory of your Minecraft (NeoForge) version.
