💀 Configurable Death 💀
About
This mod allows you to configure aspects of the player death, such as parts of the inventory to keep/drop, hunger, durability, experience, and more. It features a flexible damage source-based rule system that lets you configure different drop/keep behavior based on how the player died (PvP, lava, fall damage, etc.). It was made with modpacks in mind, giving modpack developers more control over death balancing. This mod doesn't do much with default config values, so make sure you go into the serverconfig folder to edit values.
Read Me!
Config files for Configurable Death are on a per-world basis; you'll have to open a world, edit the "server" config file, and move a copy of that config to the defaultconfigs folder in your instance root. You can find the world's config in the save folder's serverconfig folder. Moving it to defaultconfigs will apply it to all newly created worlds.
