About

Description

CRM (CometRenderer Mod) is a library that provides various utilities for using CometRenderer within Minecraft.

Whats CometRenderer?

CometRenderer is an optimized, customized and full independent rendering system for OpenGL. This provides a wide range of tools that can be used to easily render your projects.

In the context of Minecraft, its main feature is that over 80% of all rendering code will be identical for all versions of Minecraft for which there is a CRM. This means that when you port your mod from one Minecraft version to another, almost all of the rendering-related code will remain identical.

Documentation

The project has documentation that contains various information about using CometRenderer and CRM.

FAQ

Can it replace Sodium or Optifine?

No. CRM provides an various utilities for using CometRenderer in Minecraft, without changing Minecraft's rendering.

Does this library have a Forge version?

No. I don't currently have any plans to port it to Forge, but I might do so in the future.
