Use the Spelunkery mod instead as it incorporates all of the same features
This mod adds a new item tag called ‘keep_on_death’. Any item in this tag will not drop when you die. By default, only the Recovery Compass is in this tag but more items can be easily added via datapack.
Available for Fabric and Forge, be sure to download the right version.
