Description

Every loss remembered. Every death recorded.

DeathList

DeathList is a lightweight quality-of-life mod that shows which items were lost when a player dies.

Instead of trying to remember everything that was in your inventory, DeathList provides a clear record of the belongings left behind after death. It is especially useful during long adventures, dangerous expeditions, or modded playthroughs with large inventories.

✦ Never Forget What You Lost

DeathList helps you keep track of items that were in your possession at the moment of death.

The mod is designed to make item recovery less confusing while preserving the normal consequences of dying.

Main features

  • Displays the items lost after death
  • Presents the information in a clear and readable format
  • Helps players identify valuable missing equipment
  • Useful for large or heavily modded inventories
  • Lightweight and focused on quality of life
  • Designed to remain unobtrusive during normal gameplay

✦ Simple and Useful

DeathList does not replace the normal death or item-drop mechanics.

It simply gives you the information needed to understand what was lost, allowing you to decide which items are worth recovering.

Whether you lost an important weapon, valuable tools, armor, food, or rare materials, the death list makes it easier to remember what you are searching for.

✦ Perfect For

  • Survival worlds
  • Long exploration sessions
  • Dangerous mining expeditions
  • Modpacks with large inventories
  • Multiplayer servers
  • Players who frequently forget what they were carrying

✦ Compatibility

Available Minecraft versions and mod loaders may vary between releases.

Always check the information shown on the download page before installing a file. Make sure the selected file matches your:

  • Minecraft version
  • Mod loader
  • Required dependency versions

✦ Bug Reports

When reporting a problem, please include:

  • Minecraft version
  • Mod loader and loader version
  • DeathList version
  • Installed dependency versions
  • Crash report or latest log, when applicable
  • Clear steps for reproducing the issue

Your inventory may disappear, but the memory of it does not have to.
