Discord Bridge

Bridge between discord and minecraft chats

• Send messages from discord chat to minecraft chat
• Send messages from minecraft chat to discord chat
• Notify discord chat about server starting/stoping
  
• Notify discord chat about player joining/leaving
  
• Notify discord chat about player dying
  
• Notify discord chat about player getting advancement
  
• Send rendered tooltip of shared item (Apotheosis integration)
  
• Allows disabling all of the above messages in config

Disclaimer:
Generating and sending item tooltips is a rather delicate process; depending on how certain mods are written, the sharing feature might not work at all or might fail for specific items.
I can't test every single mod myself, so expect some issues.

Discord commands

• /ping - responds with "pong" just to check if bot is working
• /players - list all players currently on the server
• /time - returns current server time of day in Day or Night format

In order for this mod to work you need to:

1. Setup discord bot application. see Discord bot application setup
2. Config file must be updated with bot application token and channel ID. see Obtaining required config parameters

Discord bot application setup

Bot application must be created and added to server on which bot will send messages.
Create App
For information on how to create and add bot to the server you can consult "Step 1" of Discord Documentation Required scopes: bot
Required permissions: 2048 or Send Messages

Obtaining required config parameters

1. On the Discord Bot page under Token, click "Reset Token" to generate a new bot token.
2. Channel ID can be acquired by right clicking channel and selecting "Copy channel ID"

Both can be set via editing config/discordbridge-common.toml
