Echoes: The Void

Introduction

Hello! This is a mod made for the 2025 Curseforge ModJam with the theme "The Future". I interpreted that in a way where you are essentially rediscovering ancient technology that is far more advanced than anything currently in Minecraft. I took a lot of inspiration from the Stargate TV series but added a more Minecraft-like spin. 

I have a lot of future plans for this mod, including but not limited to

• More dimensions to explore
• Useful items
• More decorative blocks
• And a lot more lore 

...However, I did run out of time for the ModJam so some of my originally planned features are missing. So maybe consider this an alpha version of the mod and feel free to give feedback about anything! :)

Core Features

• Rediscover the Echoway: Unravel the mystery of the Architects and reactivate their ancient, interstellar network.
• Build Your Own Echoway: Construct massive, fully functional Echoway Gates. Every Echoway you build is assigned a unique, random address, becoming a new star on a server-wide map.
• Explore a New Dimension - Vespera: Journey to Vespera, a beautiful and dangerous world locked in perpetual twilight. Discover a planet teeming with unique, bioluminescent life across multiple new biomes:
  • Glimmerwood Forests, Lucent Meadows & Glowcap Fens: Vast, glowing forests and open fields.
  • Aetherium Spires: Treacherous, high altitude peaks rich in energy, dotted with floating islands.
  • Aetherium Caverns: Mysterious and lush, glowing underground ecosystems.
• Master Technology: Dive into a new tech system.
  • Use Amethyst to begin your journey into the mod's technology. 
  • Discover Celenite to craft more advanced items.
  • Build the Resonance Table, a new crafting station for creating powerful new materials.
  • Craft the Resonant Battery, an RF-powered item that acts as the key to your gate network, fully compatible with other tech mods.
  • Discover Resonators in the world's many loot chests to expand your network.
• A Rich Building Palette: Expand your creative options with a full set of new, aesthetically unique building blocks, including Architect Stonework and two new wood sets: Glimmerwood and Starwillow, complete with logs, planks, fences.
• New Flora, Fauna, and Food: Discover and cultivate new lifeforms, from the farmable Glimmer-Melon to the mysterious, consumable Aetherium Gel.
• In-Game Guidebook: A fully-featured, in-game "Echoes of the Void Guide," powered by Patchouli, will guide you through every step of the mod with clear explanations, crafting recipes, and helpful multiblock visualizations.
