Overview

Welcome to the Ecological Replenishment Station, a mod that brings fantastical creatures based on scientific conjectures into your world! In this mod, we explore a biological "what if": What if the evolution of life took a different branch, one rooted in an ancestor with a hexapod structure? This mod adds a plethora of new biomes to your world, all evolving from this conjecture. These biomes are both bizarre and wondrous, yet they strangely adhere to the laws of natural selection. Many of them even exhibit astonishing convergent evolution traits with creatures from the main world. Concept Overview

Core Concepts

All new creatures in this mod are designed based on two core principles:

Hexapod Anatomy: All creatures share a basic body blueprint consisting of six limbs. These six limbs have been specialized in different environments, evolving into various organs for walking, running, climbing, digging, grasping, and even flying.

Convergent Evolution: Despite their vastly different body structures, under similar environmental pressures, these hexapod creatures have evolved forms functionally similar to real-world quadrupedal or bipedal creatures. You will encounter pack hunters that hunt like "sharks," ambush predators that thrive in both water and land like "crocodiles," and even gliding flyers like "pterosaurs"—all with six legs!
