Description
Eden: Damage Display
Floating damage numbers with crit multipliers, per-damage-type colors, and an anime-style health bar.
A small mod that shows damage numbers over whatever you hit — and a floating health bar above mobs if you want one.
A number pops up over the target and drifts upward, sized to the hit. Critical hits carry their multiplier, so a 30-damage crit reads 30 (2.5x). Numbers and the bar can be switched on or off independently, and full-health mobs or bosses can be skipped entirely to keep the screen clean.
Every damage type gets its own colour — fire, fall, magic, projectiles, plus anything custom your pack adds. The list is read from the pack once you enter a world, and colours are picked in the config screen. Changes apply instantly — no restart needed.
Features
- ✓ Damage numbers that pop up and drift away, sized to the hit
- ✓ Crit multipliers shown right next to the number
- ✓ Anime-style floating health bar above mob heads
- ✓ Per-damage-type colours, editable in-game and read from your pack
- ✓ Skip full-health mobs or bosses
- ✓ Adjustable bar length, head gap and number size
Configuration
Open Mods → Eden: Damage Display → Config. Every option lives in one screen — toggle numbers and the bar independently, skip full-health mobs or bosses, and set the bar length, head gap and number size. Changes apply immediately.
Multiplayer
Install it on the server as well as the client. Damage is calculated server-side and sent to the client to display, so a client-only install will not show numbers. Single player needs no setup.
FAQ
Can I use it in my modpack?
Yes, go ahead.
Does it work on a vanilla server?
No. The server needs the mod to report damage; single player needs no setup.
Which versions are supported?
Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge 21.1 or newer.
