Description
This mod aims to spice up your survival world by allowing your tools to level up.
Just do the tool's main function (so breaking blocks for pickaxes or killing entities for swords) and see the exp pile up!
Once you level up, your tool will gain eitehr a random enchant, while also making sure the enchant is compatible with the tool and the tool's already possessed enchantments, or a random stat like mining speed, movement speed or something else. It will also become brand new, so you can level up beyond the tool's durability!
You can check your progress by either looking at the tool's tooltip, or at the convenient bar found under the experience bar.
There's no limit for enchantments and levels, but the exp required piles up really quickly! This also assures the level up repair doesn't outclass enchantments like mending.
Some enchantments are blacklisted, to ensure that the randomness doesn't ruin your experience. The current enchantment blacklist contains:
- Curse of Binding
- Curse of Vanishing
- Silk Touch
However you can change this blacklist how you want, you can even use it as a whitelist
This mod should naturally support all kinds of modded tools, as it changes the root tools the vanilla ones use.
