Description

A mod that enhances the Ender Dragon fight, giving the beast three heads and providing more of a challenge.

- The dragon now has a total of three heads.
- The dragon will now strafe the player more often then previously. It'll also shoot dragon fireballs more often as well.
- After strafing the player, the dragon would usually just shoot a fireball then go back to flying around the main end island. Now, after a strafe attack, the dragon will choose a random attack to use against the player:
- Charge (with flaming breath)
- When doing the normal dragon charge attack, the dragon will shoot balls of glowing purple fire at the player with one of it's extra heads in rapid succession.
- Snatch
- The dragon will charge towards the player and "snatch" them using one of it's extra mouths. The dragon will then carry the player above the end podium and drop them.
- Crash
- The dragon will dive towards the player, and "drill" into blocks, causing explosions and flinging blocks into the air.
- Dive bomb
- The dragon will fly above the player and drop eggs that spawn baby ender dragons that are hostile towards the player. Their AI is similar to the phantom.
- Charge (with flaming breath)
- Snatch, crash, and dive bomb will activate after a charge up animation has occurred. During the charge up the dragon will roar, stay motionless while pointing toward it's target, then activate one of the three attacks.
- The charge attack will have a more likely chance of being chosen depending on how many end crystals are left. When there are no end crystals left, charge will not be chosen (except for the random chance it is chosen when the dragon takes off after perching).
- Perching will no longer occur randomly, and will now instead happen after the dragon strafes the player 5 times (effectively after 5 attacks).

This mod was commissioned by SB737.
My mods will always target development on the latest or previous update. Currently only for Forge. I currently DO NOT have plans to port this to Fabric.
I cannot guarantee compatibility with other mods that modify the behavior of the Ender Dragon. If you encounter bugs or compatibility issues please report them to the mod's GitHub repo.

Feel free to include this in any modpack you'd like. Make sure to have a link to this page available.

- These baby ender dragons can be tamed (1.20.1-1.1 and 1.20.6-1.0-beta). Place down a baby ender dragon egg (which has a chance of dropping during this attack) to hatch one.
- Craft a dragon horn to control them.

- Perching will no longer occur randomly, and will now instead happen after the dragon attacks the player 4 times.
