Description
Epiphany is a library mod for progression-based Minecraft mods.
Features
Block and Item Cloaking
Hide or disguise items and blocks until players reach specific goals. Every part of cloaking is customizable.
For example:
- Hide or disguise item and registry names
- Disguise models
- Disguise sounds
- Change loot
- Make blocks unbreakable
Custom Item rarities
Rarities let you make your items special with colors, tooltips, and effects. Each rarity can change:
- Name - how the item’s name looks (color, bold, italic, etc.)
- Background - a custom background behind the item in the inventory
- Tooltip - extra text shown when you hover over the item
- Ground Effect - special effects when the item is dropped on the ground
Known Limitations
Cloaking
Some items or blocks may behave differently from their cloaked versions. For example:
- Fireworks may fly lower
- Items retain original durability
- Some blocks may allow light to pass, or retain original render types and bounding boxes
Planned Features
- JSON-driven cloaking system
- Custom item rarities
- Custom text parsing systems
- JSON-driven guide-book system
- More customization options for cloaking
