About

Description

Thank you all for over 3K downloads and your continued support. 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 versions are now released!

This small enchantment adding mod aims to provide a more worthwhile means of gaining Experience, and it is compatible to all swords. It is also Mending compatible, which makes it even more satisfying.
I don't believe you get enough experience from killing mobs and things, especially hostile ones, so this mod aims to improve that with a simple enchantment.

The Experience Ripper enchantment is available in 5 levels, each improving on the XP gain from the last, and can not be acquired in the enchanting table. It can be acquired from loot tables (dungeons, etc.)

and from villager trades, however. You will also have more XP gain from hostile mobs over passive ones. However, please note that any modded entity added that is not classified as "Undead, Arthropod, or Illager"

will only give the passive mob amount of extra XP. It is still pretty substantial in comparison to what you usually get.

No more having to farm XP by fishing or trying desperately to find coal, you can get more XP from killing creatures (especially hostile). Thank you for viewing and if you have any questions be sure to ask!
