Description
FlyMod – Server-Side Flight Mod
FlyMod is a server-side mod that enhances the multiplayer experience by allowing players to fly freely within the game. It provides dynamic and smooth aerial movement, giving players the freedom to explore and navigate the world from above. Designed for use on multiplayer servers, it can be controlled by server administrators with configurable permissions.
Commands:
- /fly – Toggles flight mode on or off for the player using the command.
- /fly <PSEUDO> – Toggles flight mode for another player by entering their username (e.g.,
/fly Broussen). - /flyspeed [value] – Adjusts the flying speed. The value must be between 0.05 and 1 (e.g.,
/flyspeed 0.5sets the flying speed to 50%). - /flymod cooldown – Displays the current cooldown time between commands.
- /flymod cooldown reset – Resets the cooldown time to 1000ms (1 second).
- /flymod cooldown <time> – Modifies the cooldown time between commands executed by the user. (Only users with the
flymod.setcooldownpermission can modify this time).
Features:
- Server-Side Only: This mod works exclusively on servers and requires admin privileges to use.
- Free Flight: Fly in any direction with ease and freedom.
- Speed Control: Adjust flying speed with the
/flyspeedcommand. Values range from 0.05 to 1. - Multiplayer Support: Admins can enable flight for other players using the
/fly <PSEUDO>command. - Cooldown: A cooldown is now applied between each command to prevent abuse. Admins can adjust or reset this cooldown time using the
/flymod cooldowncommand. - Flight Logs: Flight logs can be viewed using the
flymod.logspermission, allowing admins to track flight status changes for themselves or other players.
Permissions with LuckPerms:
- flymod.use – Allows the use of the
/flyand/flyspeedcommands. - flymod.flyspeed – Grants permission to modify flying speed with the
/flyspeedcommand. - flymod.logs – Allows access to flight logs when toggling flight for yourself or others.
- flymod.nocooldown – Disables the cooldown between commands, providing unlimited access.
- flymod.setcooldown – Allows modification of the cooldown time between commands using the
/flymod cooldowncommand.
Configuration:
- Permissions Integration with LuckPerms: You can set permissions to control who can use the
/flycommand, modify their flying speed, view flight logs, or modify the cooldown. - Game Rule: Modify the "sendCommandFeedback" gamerule to enable sending flight logs in the chat.
FlyMod brings an exciting layer of freedom to your server, allowing players to explore the world from the skies and admins to control who can fly, set flying speeds, view logs, and manage the cooldown between commands!
