Folded Space

Folded Space lets you capture an entire selected area of the world, store it inside a portable item, and deploy it somewhere else later.

Move your house, storage room, farm setup, animal pen, or small base without rebuilding everything block by block.

Features

• Capture a selected rectangular area using Pocket Space Border blocks.
• Activate the selected space with the Pocket Space Activation Item.
• Receive a filled Activated Pocket Space item in your inventory.
• Deploy the stored space anywhere by using the activated item on a block.
• Moves full builds, not just block patterns.
• Supports blocks, chests, furnaces, dropped items, and animals.
• Existing blocks at the deployment location are replaced.
• Survival-friendly: all required items and blocks have crafting recipes.
• No commands required.

How it works

1. Place 4 Pocket Space Border blocks:

   • 3 borders define the base plane.
   • 1 border defines the height of the selected space.

2. Use the Pocket Space Activation Item on the supporting Pocket Space Border block.

3. The selected space is folded into an Activated Pocket Space item.

4. The original blocks and entities inside the selected area are removed from the world.

5. Use the Activated Pocket Space item on another block to restore the captured space at the new location.

Pocket Space Border

Used to mark the boundaries of the area you want to move.

Pocket Space Activation Item

Used on the supporting border block to capture the selected space.

Activated Pocket Space

A filled portable space item that contains the captured build and can restore it elsewhere.

Survival Friendly

Folded Space is designed to work in survival gameplay. The mod includes crafting recipes for all required items, so players can use the mechanic without creative mode or commands.

Notes

The deployment process replaces existing blocks in the target area, so choose the placement location carefully.
