Player Tutorial

Getting Started

Once fractal-combat is installed, you can challenge other players to 1v1 duels using bending abilities only or anything goes battles. Starting a Duel

Casual Duel:

/b duel <playername> This sends a duel request. The other player must accept by typing the same command back with your name:

/b duel <yourname> Ranked Match:

/b rankedmatch <playername> Same flow — they accept by typing it back with your name. Ranked matches record your W/L on your profile. Requirements to Start

Both players must be in the same chunk (stand near each other) No other players in the 3×3 chunk arena — clear the area first No other duel active in that area Ranked Match Restrictions Ranked matches are pure bending only. You cannot have any of these in your inventory:

Armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots) Weapons (swords, axes, bows, etc.) Most items Allowed items:

Potions (water bottles) Cooked beef Cooked chicken If you have a disallowed item, you'll be told what to remove before the match can start. During the Duel

The arena is a 3×3 chunk area centered where you started You cannot leave the arena — you'll be teleported back if you try Non-fighters cannot enter — they'll be teleported out Projectiles from outside are blocked from entering the arena You can only attack your opponent — hitting other players is blocked during a duel Winning a Duel A duel ends when:

A fighter dies — the other player wins A fighter logs out — the other player wins A fighter cancels — the other player wins The loser is healed to full HP after the duel ends. The result is broadcast to the entire server.

Cancelling a Duel If you have a pending request or want to forfeit an active duel:

/b duelcancel Checking Scores View your own win/loss record:

/b scores Check another player's record:

/b scores <playername> This shows your regular duels, ranked matches, and total W/L. Tips

Coordinate with your opponent to meet in an open area away from other players For ranked matches, clear your inventory of weapons and armor before sending the request Use your bending abilities strategically — chi management matters in duels The arena is locked once the duel starts, so pick your starting position wisely
