A simple torch that is mounted to a stone instead of the ground. It falls like sand.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Includes a large focus on traversing worlds with enhanced world generation, structures, dungeons, and more for players to find unique loot.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.

Description
This neat item, crafted by putting a regular torch onto a piece of cobblestone, drops when the block beneath it is mined.
It is very useful when you're pit-mining, where it saves you from having to replace broken toches all the time.
A note about rendering (1.7.10 only): The default settings should be safe, but if you experience the torch being invisible, go into the settings (ingame, using the mod settings menu). There are 4 different ways the item is rendered (as block in the world, as falling block, in the inventory, and in your hand) and you can set each one to be fast (direct drawing enabled) or compatible (disabled).
The Mounted Torch is a rather simple thing. Craft it by mounting a torch onto a piece of cobblestone, then place it in the world just like any other block. What makes it special is that it will fall down if you mine away the block beneath it. Just like sand and gravel do.
For 1.7.10: The rendering is thread-safe and Angelica-compatible.
For 1.21: The torch can be waterlogged, although it goes out when it gets wet. You can reignite it like a candle after you get rid of the water.
