Description

(This mod is taking a long long nap. But yea an "unofficial" official 1.20.1 port has been made by Vzling and W-Guardian and I decided to release it for the peeps to enjoy. Note that if you want to make a remake/port of the headhunter or want to take its ideas for your own creation I encourage you to do so! Give me more boss mods to fight!

~Shadow)

Here is the video:

"You are gonna get slashed, kicked and shot at, and you're gonna love it" ~ Steve

Have you felt that modded minecraft is too easy with all your overpowered gear and cheesy tactics?

Well this boss is here to spice things up and add a little more fun to your playthrough :)

The HeadHunter was created to hunt down the most powerful creatures in the world of Minecraft! Since you are the protagonist should be pretty very high up his hit-list, in about... 694th place (oof). Well like it or not he eventually come to collect your head, it is only a matter of time.

Your fate is sealed...
But why wait for your turn to get clapped when you can just challenge him now! He features 15 unique animated moves, multiple special mechanics and many many ways to help you bite the dust.

To hunt is a choice, to be hunted is not

With this mysterious "mod" installed you can now summon him in to bring forth your impending doom early :D

Wait... do you actually intend to defeat the HeadHunter? Yea... Pfttt good luck with that!

~ Orios, traveller of the cosmos

Fortunately for you, the HeadHunter is in fact a mortal. He is a vessel for the great scourge Akrasena, and is sent to claim the heads of powerful creatures to bolster Akrasena's strength. The HeadHunter boasts a powerful arsenal, wielding The Widowmaker: A pistol that never misses, Carnage: A greatsword  that is capable of creating massive aftershocks when used, and some say that his demonic potential has yet to be released

Based on intel collected from observations of the HeadHunter's past appearances, The Formless Guide will provide you with all the necessary information to prepare for a fight against the HeadHunter. This guide is crafted using 6 paper and one book for the basic version, or 7 paper and one book for the advanced version. This by no means guarantees you success, only giving you a fighting chance against this lethal foe. All information can be found in your advancements page so remember to check it.

The HeadHunter may be mortal but he even in the unlikely case that he is defeated he doesn't actually stay down. If the HeadHunter falls, Akrasena will sacrifice a portion of it's strength to deny the HeadHunter his eternal rest and instead revive him to continue the hunt once more. However each time this happens the HeadHunter drops a portion of Akrasena's power in the form of a Bloodied Diamond. You can use this to give your weapon a unique and very powerful enchantment. Do note too that the HeadHunter can also appear in much more powerful variants, having 4 difficulties to give you a true challenge, note though that these are purely optional challenges.

~ Visage, the prophet of knowledge
