Hitbox Guard

Hitbox Guard protects your server against F3 + B abuse.

Hitboxes can reveal invisible players, vanished staff members, and entities behind walls. Hitbox Guard blocks hitbox rendering for unauthorized players while allowing staff access through configurable permissions.

Required installation

Hitbox Guard must be installed using the same version on the server and on every client.

Players without the mod will not be able to join the server. This is required to prevent bypassing the protection, since hitbox rendering happens client-side.

Permissions

Permission Purpose
hitboxguard.use Allows a player to use F3 + B
hitboxguard.admin Allows access to administration commands

Commands

  • /hitboxguard reload — Reloads the configuration and resynchronizes players
  • /hitboxguard status — Shows the system and permission status
