Description
HORDE ASCENSION
Every two nights, the invasion evolves.
At first, only ten zombies will come.
Then the skeletons will arrive. Creepers will tear through your defenses. The Nether will open, the skies will become hostile, and the hordes will grow stronger with every passing night.
On Day 100, the Withers will come.
Horde Ascension is a 100-day survival challenge that unleashes an increasingly dangerous mob wave every two nights. Each invasion introduces larger armies, deadlier combinations, stronger equipment, and new enemy types, forcing you to improve your base before the next assault begins.
HOW IT WORKS
• The challenge begins on Day 1 when the mod is first activated in a world.
• A new horde attacks every two days, beginning on the night of Day 2.
• A 60-second warning gives you one final chance to prepare.
• Enemies spawn in every direction, between 30 and 50 blocks around the player.
• Sleeping is disabled while a horde is approaching or active.
• A progress bar displays how many enemies remain.
• The wave ends only when every horde enemy has been defeated.
• If sunrise arrives before the battle is over, the surviving horde remains active. Waiting for daylight will not save you.
AN INVASION THAT NEVER STOPS EVOLVING
Days 2–20 — THE AWAKENING
Face zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, witches and the first Illagers. The early waves may seem manageable, but every attack contains more enemies and increasingly dangerous combinations.
Days 22–40 — THE NETHER BREACH
The Nether begins invading the Overworld. Zombified Piglins, Magma Cubes, Blazes, Wither Skeletons, Piglin Brutes and Ghasts join the hordes.
Days 42–60 — THE INFERNAL HORDE
The attacks expand into the skies. Phantoms and Ghasts surround your base while Ravagers, Evokers, Vexes and Endermen attack from the ground. On Day 60, the first Wither appears.
Days 62–80 — THE CORRUPTED INVASION
Shulkers, Breezes, armored enemies and creatures from every previous stage combine into increasingly destructive armies. On Day 80, two Withers lead the invasion.
Days 82–98 — THE APOCALYPSE
Every enemy type can now appear. Hordes become enormous, equipment becomes stronger, and the most dangerous creatures attack together.
Day 100 — THE FINAL HORDE
Four Withers appear simultaneously to the north, south, east and west of the player.
Defeat them all to complete the challenge.
MAJOR MILESTONES
• Day 2: 10 Zombies
• Day 20: The first Ravager
• Day 40: A full Nether and Illager assault
• Day 60: The first Wither
• Day 80: Two Withers
• Day 100: Four Withers surrounding the player
Enemy equipment also improves throughout the campaign, progressing from leather and gold to iron, enchanted gear, and occasional diamond pieces during the final stages.
PREPARE, BUILD, SURVIVE
You have two days between attacks. Use them wisely.
Gather resources, reinforce your walls, create escape routes, prepare ranged weapons, and adapt your defenses to the enemies that will appear next.
A base that survives the Zombies may fall to Creepers. Walls that stop the undead may become useless against Phantoms, Ghasts, Vexes and the final Wither assault.
Horde Ascension turns an ordinary survival world into a race against time.
MULTIPLAYER
Horde Ascension supports both singleplayer and multiplayer survival.
• Nearby players share the same horde.
• Players who are far apart receive separate invasions.
• Regular enemy counts scale with the number of players.
• Boss counts remain controlled by default.
• Joining, dying, disconnecting, or escaping into another dimension does not permanently cancel an active horde.
FULLY CONFIGURABLE
Players and server owners can customize:
• Time between invasions
• First horde day
• Warning duration
• Minimum and maximum spawn distance
• Enemy count and multiplayer scaling
• Maximum active horde size
• Sleep restrictions
• Sunlight protection
• Boss bar and announcements
• Equipment drop chances
• Number of Withers on Day 100
• Optional endless mode after the final battle
Wave compositions are data-driven, allowing advanced players and datapacks to modify or completely replace the default 100-day progression.
COMPATIBILITY
Horde Ascension uses vanilla Minecraft entities and preserves their normal loot system. This allows it to work alongside loot modifiers and difficulty mods such as HardDrops without requiring them as dependencies.
• Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1
• NeoForge
• Java 21
• Singleplayer and dedicated server support
• No additional dependency required
CAN YOU REACH DAY 100?
At first, you will only hear Zombies outside your walls.
Soon, arrows will fall from the darkness. Creepers will open paths through your defenses. Blazes and Ghasts will turn the night into fire. Wither Skeletons will march toward your base while Phantoms circle above it.
You have 100 days to prepare.
The horde only needs one night to destroy everything.
