Immersive Gateways introduces mysterious, long-forgotten portals scattered across the Overworld. These gateways cannot be crafted or moved; they must be found during exploration and encourage world development. Each one links to another somewhere in the world, allowing for fast travel without deprecating the use of other transportation methods. Portals are animated, atmospheric, and designed to feel like it has always belonged in your world.

The mod adds 25 unique gateway structures, naturally generated across the world. Gateways are biome specific to blend naturally into their environment. No GUIs, no tech progression, just an immersive way to explore your world in a more non-linear way.

Long before obsidian frames were built by players, ancient builders shaped the world with knowledge now lost. These gateways are remnants of that age, anchors left behind to bind distant lands together. Time has buried them, cracked their stone, and erased their purpose from memory. Yet the magic still lingers, waiting for travelers curious enough to step through and reconnect the paths of the old world.

Future updates will cover even more biomes, the underground, and of course the nether. Gateways will always remain uncraftable, but the tools to create one will be polished and exposed in creative menu for mapmakers, and modpack creators may integrate them in survival gameplay as well if they really wish to.
