Description

Itemhunt is a lightweight and engaging Fabric mod for Minecraft that turns your survival playthrough into an exciting item collection challenge. Armed with a special, custom-crafted challenge book, your goal is to track down and collect a continuous sequence of randomly assigned items. Whether you are playing solo or with friends, Itemhunt provides a smooth and automated mini-game experience directly inside your survival world.

Features

• Automatic Start: Receive your Challenge Book automatically upon joining the world for the first time, allowing you to start your hunt immediately without complex crafting recipes.

• Interactive Book UI: Right-click with the book in your hand to open a custom user interface that displays your current target and your full history of completed challenges.

• Real-Time Inventory Detection: The mod continuously monitors player inventories in the background. As soon as you acquire the target item, it is instantly recognized, marked as complete, and replaced with a brand-new random challenge.

• Smart Randomization: The built-in randomizer automatically filters out unreachable entries (like air) and restricted items to ensure every generated challenge is strictly obtainable in survival mode.

• Recent-First History Sorting: Completed items are automatically organized so that your most recently achieved item always appears right at the top of the list.

• Skip Command: Stuck on an unfair or difficult item? Use the /itemhunt skip command while holding the book to bypass the current target and advance to the next challenge.

• Creative Tab Support: The challenge book is fully integrated into the Tools creative inventory tab for easy access during testing and setup.
