Kinetic Ears & Tails is an independent cosmetic character-customization mod that adds customizable 3D ears, physically simulated tails, body customization, and multiplayer appearance synchronization.

🐱 Customizable 3D Ears

• Several original ear shapes and presets
• Adjustable size, rotation, depth, and placement
• Volumetric ear geometry with inner cavities
• Independent left and right ear movement
• Interaction with low ceilings

🦊 Physically Simulated Tails

• One or multiple independently simulated tails
• Realistic skeletal-muscular physics enabled by default
• Classic free-chain physics available as an alternative
• Gravity, inertia, joint constraints, damping, and terrain collision
• Distributed support for long tails
• Collision profile based on the visible volume of the tail
• Adjustable length, thickness, taper, segment count, movement, and placement
• Super-volumetric plush-tail option
• Support for multiple-tail presets

The realistic mode does not use a permanently raised arc or a predefined S-shaped curve.
The visible tail shape emerges from gravity, inertia, joint constraints, limited simulated muscular support, movement, and collisions.

Scientific accuracy notice: Distributed support for long and multiple tails is an artistic engineering approximation. It should not be interpreted as a scientifically validated model of real multi-tail anatomy.

🌐 Multiplayer Support

Player appearance settings can be synchronized between players.

Installing the mod on both the client and server is recommended for multiplayer synchronization.

🖥️ Supported Versions

Download the file that matches both your Minecraft version and mod loader:

[!IMPORTANT] Files made for different Minecraft versions or mod loaders are not interchangeable.
Do not install a Forge build under NeoForge or a build intended for another Minecraft version.

📥 Installation

1. Install the required version of Forge or NeoForge.
2. Download the matching Kinetic Ears & Tails JAR.
3. Place the JAR in your .minecraft/mods folder.
4. Install the same mod version on the server if multiplayer synchronization is required.
5. Start Minecraft and press V to open the customization screen.

• This is primarily a cosmetic character-customization mod.
• Multiplayer synchronization works best when the mod is installed on both the client and server.
• The realistic mode is a real-time, game-oriented physical simulation—not a scientifically complete anatomical model.
• The unfinished pouch prototype remains disabled and is not included as an active release feature.
