Kzm's Elytra Swaper

One key to swap between your Elytra and your chestplate.

Press a key to automatically select the Elytra from your hotbar, equip it, and return to your previous slot.

This is a client-side mod. It does not need to be installed on the server.

Features

• One-key swap. Default key is R (change it in the settings menu or in Minecraft's Controls).
• Auto Detect Elytra (default). The mod looks through hotbar slots 1-9 and picks the right item for you:
  • If you are wearing an Elytra, it looks for a chestplate first, then an Elytra.
  • If you are wearing a chestplate (or nothing), it looks for an Elytra first, then a chestplate.
  • If there are several chestplates, the best one is used: netherite, diamond, iron, gold, then lower tiers.
  • If there are several candidates of the same kind, the slot closest to your current slot is used.
  • Broken Elytra are skipped.
  • If there is no Elytra or chestplate in your hotbar, the mod does nothing.
• Select Custom Slot. Prefer a fixed slot? Choose any slot from 1 to 9.
• Settings screen. Press Shift + Keybind(Default: R) in game to open it, or use the settings button in Mod Menu if you have it installed.
• Adjustable delay. Set your own minimum and maximum delay between the steps (minimum 30 ms). Default is 55-70 ms.
• Delay + Legit Press toggle. ON (default): the mod presses your hotbar and use keys with the delay you set. OFF: the mod sends the slot and use actions directly with a fixed 20-30 ms delay. The settings screen warns you when this is turned off.
• Settings are saved in config/kzmselytraswaper.properties.
  
  
  

How to use

1. Install the mod (see Requirements below).
2. Join a world or server and put an Elytra and/or a chestplate in your hotbar.
3. Press R. The swap happens automatically.
4. Press Shift + R to open the settings.
   
   
   

Requirements

• Fabric Loader
• Fabric API
• Java 21 for Minecraft 1.21.x, Java 25 for Minecraft 26.x

Each Minecraft version has its own file. Download the one that matches your game version from the Versions tab.

Important notice

This mod automates a sequence of actions: (slot switch, right-click, slot switch back). It is designed to reduce the risk of detection by server anti-cheat systems and has been tested on multiple servers with anti-cheat enabled. However, there is no guarantee that you will avoid being flagged or banned. Randomized delays are intended to make the sequence of actions less mechanically consistent. Please read the rules of the server you play on and use the mod only where it is allowed. You are responsible for how you use it.
