Summary
Backports armor trims to 1.8.x, uses NBT data so trims used by players on 1.20+ will be visible if playing on a server that supports multiple versions.
Designed to be used when playing Hypixel Housings that have trimmed armor, please note that while this mod is designed to comply with Hypixel's guidelines, all modifications are strictly "Use at Your Own Risk" per Hypixel's official rules.
Features
This mod includes all 18 trims and all 11 materials available on modern versions.
Trims: Coast, Dune, Eye, Flow, Host, Raiser, Rib, Sentry, Shaper, Silence, Snout, Spire, Tide, Vex, Ward, Wayfinder, Wild, and Bolt.
Materials: Amethyst, Copper, Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron, Lapis, Netherite, Quartz, Redstone, and Resin.
The enchantment glint on armor models has been made more transparent to make trims more visible. This can be changed in the config menu but is set to 80% by default.
Compatible with resource packs and modded armor.
Tooltip supports multiple languages.
Note: This mod does not implement a way of obtaining trims in survival (without cheats).
New commands
- /armortrimsconfig - opens the config menu
- /dye - dyes leather armor in the specified slot to the hexcode input.
- /dye clear - removes dye from leather armor in the specified slot.
- /trim - applies a trim to the armor in the specified slot.
- /trim clear - removes a trim to the armor in the specified slot.

All Trim Patterns And Materials On All Armor Types Shows the 990 possible armor pieces. -
Trim Item Textures + Tooltip Shows all the trim materials on iron armor. (Resin, Copper, Amethyst, Lapis, Redstone, Gold, Iron, Quartz, Diamond, Emerald, Netherite). -
Armor Trims Config Menu Shows the different config settings for the mod. -
Trimmed Armor In Item Frames + Enchanted Trimmed Armor Model Shows various armor trim and material combinations. As well as the increased transparency applied to the armor model's enchantment glint.
