Magical Journeys

Welcome to Magical Journeys. This is a mod about capturing mob souls, finding towers and becoming a powerful wizard.

Overview

1. Craft a soul orb and capture a soul.

2. Combind two soul orbs from the same type of mob in the soul forge.

3. Make a player soul orb and level it up in the soul infuser.

4. Take the player soul orb and the mob soul orb together in a soul charger to get powers without consuming the orb.

The first thing you will need to start is a soul orb and a soul forge.

You can use the soul orb to capture a  mob soul by left-clicking on a mob.

You can then use two soul orbs with the same captured mob to make a a level 2 mob soul orb.

By right-clicking the mob soul orb you will get a potion effect.The duration is the level seconds long.

This will however consume the orb if it's not max level(changed in the config).

The second way to get the effects is to use a soul charger and a player soul orb.

Player Soul Orb

Soul Charger

The player soul orb needs to be bound to a player. That is done by right-clicking it.

Then it can be leveled up.

However, player soul orbs are not leveled in the soul forge. They are leveled in a soul infuser.

The soul infuser is crafted with a magical gem that I will talk about later.

Soul Infuser

Now all you need to do is putting your bound player soul orb in the soul infuser.

It will then damage you every time the sword bar hits the bottom.

It will deal one damage for every level and it does half a heart more damage each time. Example: Your soul orb is level 10 and you want it to level 11. it will then do first half a heart, then one heart onwards up to 11 half hearts = 5.5 hearts.

The last thing left is to put the player soul orb in the left slot of the soul charger and the mob soul orb in the right slot.

It will then give you the effect with level of the player soul orb - 10 (if the soul orb is level 11+) and the duration mob soul orb level ticks.

Now on to the structures.

The old wizard tower.

Inside the tower there will sometimes be a chest which can contain magical gems.

The magical gems can be used for the soul inuser and for other magical items such as: teleport and smelting scroll, fuel for the teleporter and a golden gem.

Magical paper is a crafing component for scrolls.

The teleport scroll

The teleport scroll is a powerful scroll that when bound by a right-click will then by right-clicking again take you back to that first spot.

This can be done four times before the magic runs out.

The teleport scroll can also be used on the teleporter to set its location.

The teleporter

The teleporter is used to teleport a player a infine amount of times. However this costs fuel.

The teleporter needs to be bound and fuel need to be added for it to work.

To bind the teleporter to a location simply right-click with a boun teleport scroll.

To fuel it rightclick or transpot in tele fuel (with a hopper).

The smelting scroll

The smelting scroll is used by holding down right-click until it starts to glow. Then hold the item you want to smelt in your hand and it will smelt. To turn off the scoll hold down right-click again untill it stops.

Golden gem

The golden gem is a powerful stone and used to turn ironblocks in to gold. This is done by a right-click with the gem in your hand.

Diamond gem

Just like the Golden gem the Diamond gem turns blocks in to other blocks only this time it's gold into diamond.

Modpacks

if you want Magical Journeys in your modpack following rules apply:

1. Your mod pack needs a link back to this forum post.

2. You cannot claim that you made any part of the mod, and you must give credit to the mod author (bullgurkan).

3. You cannot make any money off of the mod pack.

4. If I ask you to remove my mod from your mod pack do so.
