Description

"Monochrome: The Final Moment" is not just a mod. It is a psychological dive into a fragmented mind trapped between life and death. Read the logs carefully. Understand the tragedy before you step into the void.
📜 Part I: The Coma Chronicles (Andrey's Story)
A devastating fire left Andrey’s body burning in a hospital bed, but his consciousness was cast into a cold, endless abyss. Trapped inside his own medical coma, he began to wander. To keep the crawling madness away, Andrey wrote down everything he saw, leaving paper notes scattered across the shifting worlds. He was the one who gave these worlds their names, trying to categorize his own insanity.
First, he woke up in a shifting labyrinth of dark corridors, which he named The Mansion (Dimension 0). Seeking an escape, Andrey touched a mysterious artifact and got pulled deeper into his mind. He found himself in a quiet, disturbing woodland where the trees looked distorted, naming it The Mirror Forest (Dimension 1). It was there, while leaving his regular notes, that Andrey saw a barely visible, glowing red ghost. Before he could scream, the spirit flew directly into his chest. Andrey instantly lost control of his own body. His hands moved against his will, foreign words spilled from his mouth, and a mocking laughter echoed inside his skull. The entity whispered its name into his thoughts: Ashes (Pepel).
Eventually, Ashes left his body, leaving Andrey frozen in absolute terror. Andrey ran blindly until he found another artifact, stepping into a massive, silent place of worship he called The Cathedral (Dimension 2). From that moment on, his journey became a desperate flight through worlds he named himself: The Machine of Flesh (Dimension 3), The Oceanic Void (Dimension 4), The Library of Souls (Dimension 5), The Clockwork City (Dimension 6), and The Absolute Zero (Dimension 7). Through all these realms, Andrey kept leaving notes, constantly feeling the burning eyes of Ashes watching him from the dark.
🏠 Part II: The Guardian and the Skinwalker
Finally, Andrey crossed into a realm that looked like an endless flat world, but a familiar silhouette stood in the distance. It was his home. He named this place Reality (False) (Dimension 8). He opened the door and found his family, alive and smiling. Overjoyed, Andrey failed to realize that this house was a beautiful lie born of his comatose imagination.
When Andrey stepped outside to inspect the perimeter, a strange, giant entity blocked his path. Looking closely at its shifting, half-black and half-white face, Andrey named it "Monochrome". Fearing for his family's safety, Andrey engaged in a brutal battle. Monochrome barely fought back—it only defended itself, slowly sinking into the ground. As it dissolved into the earth, its last words shattered Andrey's mind: "My name is Monochrome... I was only trying to help you." It was never a monster. It was the protector of his mind.
With the protector gone, Ashes returned in his true, horrific form—the Skinwalker. The entity hijacked Andrey’s limbs again, forcing his hands to brutally torture and massacre his imaginary family. Trapped behind his own eyes, Andrey felt agonizing physical pain. In pure desperation, he began listing random numbers in his head, hoping a logical pattern would save him. A specific combination worked, and the Skinwalker vanished. But when Andrey opened his eyes, he was holding a knife over his terrified, pleading wife. Unable to bear the horror of what he had done, Andrey drove the knife into his own chest, dying permanently in both the coma and the real world.
👁️ Part III: Your Turn to Suffer
Now, you wake up. You play as a person who fell into a coma in that exact same hospital room, and your consciousness has spawned directly inside the decayed, blood-soaked remains of Andrey's mind.
You will find his handwritten journals, follow his footprints, and cross the exact same 9 dimensions he named. In the False Reality, you will find the house covered in blood, the corpses of Andrey and his wife, and you will face your own Monochrome—because everyone has one inside their head. If you repeat Andrey's mistake and slay your guardian, the Skinwalker will take control of your hands. You must remember Andrey's secret number combination to break the curse. As loneliness drives you insane, you will want to end your life, but a dark hole in the ground will appear. Jumping into that vertical void is your only way to break the coma loop, witness the medical cutscene with the hospital doctors, and finally wake up in the real world.
