Specialized weapons with distinct combat roles, active abilities, and defensive techniques!
Nanonaitor’s Arsenal re-imagines weapons from history, fantasy, and legend as mechanically unique Minecraft equipment. Every weapon introduces a different way to attack, defend, move, charge, reflect, weaken, or control groups of enemies.
⚔️ Equipment
| Equipment | Inspiration | Specialty |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Star | Heavy spiked maces associated with medieval European warfare. | Charge a powerful sweeping attack. Each charge quarter increases damage, while full charge applies Armor Fracture and can Stun. |
| Scimitar | Curved, single-edged sabres associated with Iran, the Ottoman world, and surrounding regions. | A fast weakening weapon that can attack from either hand. Dual wielding enables alternating attacks and shielding! |
| Paired Claws | Inspired by the Indian “tiger claw.” | Independently controlled paired weapons. Fully charged paired hits pierce invulnerability frames, and every fourth charged hit is a guaranteed critical. |
| Flail | European chain-flail imagery derived from agricultural threshing tools. | Hold attack to spin the Flail and strike every visible non-allied enemy within its radius. |
| Battering Ram | Ancient siege engines, including those depicted in Neo-Assyrian warfare. | Charge forward and smash enemies and a tier-dependent 3×3 path through terrain. |
| Ball & Chain | A fantasy combination of historical flexible and weighted-chain weapons. | Swing to build charges, release a damaging outward-and-returning throw, or guard using the ball when the offhand is empty. |
| Blade Staff | A fantasy polearm with a curved blade at each end. | Auto-attack with an empty offhand, damage nearby enemies with melee splash attacks, or spin to reflect incoming damage and harmful effects. |
| Sun-War Bulwark | Inspired by the Mexican legend of El Pípila, remembered for carrying a stone slab during the 1810 assault on the Alhóndiga de Granaditas. | A massive fortress shield with passive protection, all-direction guarding, armor-scaled strikes, and a powerful area bash. |
| Tartsy Shield | Inspired by historical round shields and spiked bucklers. | Completely negates one attack, then disables temporarily. Its shield dash grants brief immunity, damages and Stuns enemies, and primes a critical hit. |
