About

I hate Auto-Jump, which is why I made this mod so that you don't have to suffer!

This is a small client-side only mod that simply forces the Vanilla Minecraft Auto-Jump option to be disabled by default and cannot be turned back on.

A config file was also added as of version 1.2 for 1.12 that allows the mod to be temporarily disabled on the fly without removing the mod. For the config changes to properly sync on 1.12, you must edit the value through the in-game config GUI in the Mods menu, in 1.16 and later versions, you can simply edit the config value directly in the config file itself and Forge would sync the changes automatically upon saving the file.

This mod currently is available for 1.10 - 1.13, 1.16, 1.18 - 1.20!

A note for using the 1.16+ versions of this mod: The accessibility options screen was added into Minecraft since 1.16, but due to the way that screen is coded, this mod is unable to disable the auto jump button without some very hacky workarounds, which I tried to avoid doing. As a result, the auto jump button in the accessibility options screen is not disabled, if the user tries to enable auto jump through that button, the auto jump option will still remain disabled after the user exits out of the accessibility options screen.

I don't have plans to add more features like step assist into the mod as that is not what this mod was originally aimed for. This mod is only intended to forcibly disable Auto-Jump.
