🚫 No Portals Gamerule

A lightweight utility mod that adds a gamerule to disable Nether and End portals — perfect for servers that want to limit progression or keep players grounded in the Overworld.

🌍 Why This Mod?

Minecraft has seen a ton of content added to the early and mid-game in recent updates. But let’s be honest — someone always speedruns to the Nether or End and rushes progression, leaving everyone else scrambling to keep up.

I made this mod for friend-group modpacks and SMP style servers where staying in one dimension adds to the experience. Whether you’re running a themed world, building a progression-based adventure, or just want to stretch out the early game a little longer — this mod gives you the control Minecraft has been strangely missing.

🛠️ Commands

To disable portals, run:

/gamerule `portalsEnabled false

Turn it off to allow portal use again:

/gamerule `portalsEnabled true
