Depends on at least Geckolib Fabric 3.1.6!

"The past can never truly be forgotten. History always repeats itself....."

-An entry from a journal found during excavation of a stronghold library

Welcome to Once Forgotten! The main goal this little pet project of mine has is to expand Minecraft lore using new items, mobs and blocks to do so. Throughout your adventures here, you may find new blocks, mobs and ores to aid you in your journey across what seems to be an ever-evolving world!

For example, the Worldforge is a necessary piece of ancient (and future) history found within the End. Inside lies many new items and blocks for you to uncover.

What will you find?

Fine, here's the full mod details if you want them:

Structures:

Chapter 1: Histories Revealed

The Worldforge

These structures spawn in the End, scattered around from some unspoken time. They are composed of Hardened Metal Plates, Luminous Metal Plates and Hardened Metal Supports, making the only way for a player to get in either moving a block with a piston or breaking through the heavily Oxidized Copper doors. Inside are 5 separate rooms (not including the hallways)

Chapter 2: Rediscovered Technology

Factorus Mechanus

Found underground, these seem to be some sort of old base or factory completely constructed out of various copper blocks and dotted with Copper Gears. Inside are various different rooms containing valuable loot, some of which is exclusive to the structure.

 Items:

Chapter 1: Histories Revealed

  • The Tools of War: Melting Scrapped Metal in a Blast Furnace will give you Raw Uru. Smelt that once more to get Uru Ingots, and combine those into a Block of Uru which can be combined with sticks and Netherite Scrap in different formations to make an Uru Longsword, an Uru Waraxe, an Uru Warhammer, and a Uru Warspade.
  • Armor Shards: Combine 9 in a crating table to get Scrapped Metal.

Chapter 2: Rediscovered Technologies

  • Copper Nugget: Obtained just like any other nugget with its ingot, it is essential to have these on hand to craft most new Copper blocks and items in this mod.
  • Lapis Lazuli Dust: When mining Deepslate Lapis Lazuli, there is a small chance your forceful hits will make it drop this new item. It can be used to craft the second new item......
  • Tempus Dust: Combining Redstone Dust and Lapis Lazuli Dust will create this essential crafting material. If you have an Ender Pearl, you can surround it with this to duplicate it! Yet....something about it.......seems familiar......
  • Tempus Crystal: When Diamonds and Tempus Dust are put together, you get Tempus Crystals! They can be used to craft Blocks of Tempus Crystal and more.
  • Malformed Ender Pearls: If you're having trouble collecting Ender Pearls, a Spider Eye and Tempus Dust can create a suitable substitute.
  • Crystalline Heart: A rare item found within a Factorus Mechanus, this item can be consumed for temporary extra hearts and Regeneration.
  • Powerful Contraption Piece: The only other exclusive item to a Factorus Mechanus, these pieces are necessary to craft a powerful new tool.
  • Power Armor: Made with a Block of Tempus CrystalPowerful Contraption Pieces, and assorted copper items, this essentially functions as a chestplate without the protection. When worn, the Tempus Crystal block speeds up your mining by giving you the Haste effect.

 Blocks:

Chapter 1: Histories Revealed

  • Copper Gear: More for decoration, this block is used in various crafting recipes.
  • Clockwork Mechanisms: Crafted with Copper Gears, Copper Ingots and Copper Nuggets, this block loses its redstone power as it oxidizes.
  • Reversed Clockwork Mechanisms: If any of the various oxidized Clockwork Mechanisms (besides the unaffected one) are surrounded with Tempus Dust, they will begin to oxidize backwards all the way back to the unaffected form.
  • Block of Tempus Crystal: Both a redstone power emitting block and a light source, this is essentially storage for Tempus Crystals.

Entities:

Chapter 2: Rediscovered Technologies

  • Factorus Guardian: Looking like a bipedal, land-based Guardian, this mob can be found roaming the corridors of a Factorus Mechanus. Its drops are mostly the same as a Guardian, with the added chance of obtaining a Copper Gear or two. It attacks all mobs except for other Factorus Guardians.

Q: Will you port to Forge?

A: No [Forge is lame, massive L]

Q: Can I use this in a mod pack?

A: (Insert generic "yes, but credit me first" response)

Q: What's coming in the next update?

A: You'll see. :3

The Worldforge and Factorus Mechanus lie in wait, structures meant to be found by explorers of today....Clockwork Mechanisms and Tempus Crystal items are ready to be used in new forms of Redstone.......and Scrapped Metal, debris from long ago, is begging to be smithed into Uru Ingots for the Tools of War.

(A wiki will be up in a matter of time to explain the full extent of this mod! In the meantime, I reccomend using EMI or something similar to find crafting recipes and have a look at some of the new items.)
