Void's Devourers is a dark, lore-rich Forge 1.20.1 add-on for the Origins mod by DevStarByte. Step into the role of a being forged from the abyss between the stars — a hunter that sees in pitch darkness, shrugs off Wither and dark magic, glides through the void, slips from shadow to shadow, and feeds only on the souls of the creatures it slays.

✦ Two Playable Origins

• Void's Devourer — the core abyss-born hunter. Ash-grey skin, dying stars for eyes, hollow voice. Built to consume.
• Shadow Lord — a stealth-focused subspecies with a stronger void veil, extended void fusion, a shadow cloak and forbidden knowledge.

• 20+ custom powers — Void Sight, Void Aura, Soul Feast, Ascension, Phase Step, Void Glide, Void Veil Armor, Voidborn Resistance, Wither Immunity, and more.
• Custom craftable items — the Voidsplitter blade, the Shadow Cloak, and the Soul Brew potion.
• Active abilities — AoE void-flame Embrace of the Void, shadow-teleport Void Fusion, and a stealth Phase Step.
• Deep in-world lore — history, manifesto, codex, hierarchy, rituals, void-tongue glossary and prophecy.

• Light Sensitivity — damage and weakness in direct sunlight.
• Water Aversion — being submerged burns you.
• Hollow Voice — mortal food gives 25% less healing and saturation. Souls are your true sustenance.
