Description

Pehkui Rebuilt

Pehkui Rebuilt is an unofficial library maintaining compatibility with the Pehkui public API for newer Minecraft/Fabric versions. This mod can change the size of entities, including their collision boxes and visual size.

This is not an official Virtuoel release.

The goal of this project is to maintain Pehkui‑API‑compatible support for modern Minecraft Fabric releases, with fully rebuilt and flattened internal mixin implementations.

Supported Versions

Currently supported:

  • Multiple Minecraft 1.21~26.2 Fabric

More versions may be added as development continues.

Beta Status

These builds are marked as beta because they have only undergone single‑player local testing. They have not yet received broad testing within large modpacks, public multiplayer servers, or a wide range of Pehkui‑dependent mods.

Core scaling functionality works in single‑player local environments, but real‑world compatibility validation is still needed.

Still Needs Wider Testing

This project requires further real‑world testing, especially:

  • Multi‑player server environments
  • Compatibility with mods that depend on the Pehkui API
  • Large modpack setups
  • Various edge‑case entity rendering and scaling scenarios

If you encounter crashes, incorrect scaling visuals, or compatibility issues with dependent mods, please file an issue on GitHub, including logs and reproduction steps where possible.

Modpack Use

Modpack use is welcome.

As these are beta builds, please perform thorough testing before deploying to large modpacks or public servers.

⚠️ Important: This library cannot be used alongside the original Pehkui. Remove the original Pehkui jar before installation.

Source Origin & Credits

Pehkui Rebuilt is based upon work from Pehkui by Virtuoel and Pehkui‑Continuation.

  • The 1.21.11 branch bootstrapped from Pehkui‑Continuation.
  • All other 1.21.x branches are full independent rebuild of mixin‑layer implementation.

Original Pehkui: https://modrinth.com/mod/pehkui

This project would not exist without Virtuoel’s work and the original Pehkui contributors.

This is not an official Virtuoel release.
