Description

Pivot adds a way to edit display entities, that includes block and item display entities, ingame. It also allows players who do not have this mod to join server who do. Display entities are an entirely vanilla concept.
Support
If you would like to support me you can do so by going to my Kofi or just generally recommending any mods I made to your friends or audience!
Features
Pivot allows you to summon, remove, lock and edit display entities. To use it, use the key set in your keybinds to open it. Default is R. If you would like to preview the GUI then you can check it out in the gallery.
With Pivot you can:
- Summon a block or item display entity of the item that you are currently holding.
- Rotate, Scale, Translate and Move it.
- Change its blockstates, allowing you to make a redstone lamp lit or not, make farmland wet or not etc.
- Align it to its nearest X, Y and Z
- Duplicate the current selected display entity, requiring that you hold the same item that the display entity is.
Pivot also has some QoL features, like:
- Survival friendly, spawning an display entity requires the player to have the item that they want to make a display entity of, and they can take it back.
- Security, players that did not summon a specific display entity cannot edit it, unless they have operator.
- Locking any display entity that you placed, (once again, unless you are an operator) making sure that you cant accidentally edit it.
It is Open source with an MIT license allowing you to fork, contribute and use it however you want. If you have any suggestions or want a port to another version, please open an issue in the github.
Alternatively, you can also join the Discord! You can ask for help, a mod, just suggest something, hangout or request the source code of any mod I have made (if I still have the source code).
