🥫 Preserved & Packaged Foods

Provisioner's Delight expands your food options with a variety of long-lasting and conveniently packaged foods.

You can produce canned foods, jarred foods, rations, hardtack, instant noodles, packaged cookies, jams, drinks such as Vitamin Water, and many other supplies.

Packaging isn't always waste, either. Some containers can be recycled after use, allowing you to recover materials from your empty cans.

📦 Compact Storage & Massive Stockpiles

Food takes space—and Provisioner's Delight gives you ways to pack enormous quantities into increasingly compact forms.

Hardtack, for example, can be packed through several stages:

8 Hardtack → 1 Package
8 Packages → 1 Bundle
8 Bundles → 1 Crate

A single crate therefore represents 512 pieces of hardtack, while a full stack of crates represents an enormous 32,768 pieces.

And you can go even further.

The Extra-Large Crate can be crafted using 8 Crates and Sticks, allowing your already-compressed supplies to be consolidated into an even larger package.

Build food warehouses, military supply depots, emergency reserves, expedition stores, or simply keep an absurd amount of food in your survival base.

Provisioner's Delight now supports Create, bringing preserved food production into automated factory lines.

Instead of producing everything by hand, compatible recipes can be incorporated into Create machinery and conveyor-based production systems.

Build automated lines for processing ingredients, filling containers, producing preserved foods, handling packaging, and recycling used materials.

Provisioner's Delight has also been tested in environments containing:

It adds a variety of preserved foods, including canned goods, bottled goods, rations, instant noodles, crackers, hardtuck, and beverage cans.

This mod goes beyond simply adding food; it also focuses on efficient transportation and storage.

Many preserved foods can be compressed into crates, allowing for compact transportation and storage in large quantities, and they can also be placed directly on the ground.

It transforms survival life into a more practical and immersive experience, enabling long-distance expeditions, warehouse management, large-scale logistics, and emergency stockpiling.

A single final wooden crate can hold a whopping 512 pieces of hardtuck.

When eating soups, stews, or other liquid dishes, you can quickly dip the Hardtack in your off-hand and eat them together.

It recreates the ruggedness and practicality of a preserved food culture.

In addition, canned goods cannot be opened without a can opener, and used cans and beverage containers can be melted down and recycled into iron ingots.

You can enjoy the entire process from food production to consumption and reuse.

Jam also has practical uses; it can be spread on bread or Hardtack.
